Job Description
To support the Global Bonus Manager in documenting and governing the global bonus process. The role will primarily focus on process documentation, governance, and coordination, before expanding into operational responsibilities over time. This includes working closely with the Power BI Analyst to document workflows and ensuring finance aspects of the bonus and Payroll processes are clearly defined, repeatable, and auditable. This position will be reporting to the global bonus manager in finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Governance Support & Documentation (Primary Focus)
• Assist the Global Bonus Manager in documenting the end-to-end bonus process.
• Create clear process notes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and flow charts for bonus calculation, approval, and payout processes.
• Develop a robust governance framework, ensuring consistency, control, and transparency.
• Maintain a central repository for process documents and governance materials. - Collaboration with Bonus Power BI Analyst
• Work alongside the Power BI Analyst to understand and document the data transformation and visualization processes used in bonus reporting.
• Ensure data governance and version control practices are in place for all analytical workflows. - Stakeholder Coordination
• Coordinate with HR, finance, and regional teams to gather process insights and validate documentation.
• Support compliance and internal audit reviews by ensuring appropriate documentation and process ownership. - Operational Transition (Secondary Focus – Future Scope)
• Gradually support bonus computations, validations, and reconciliations under the guidance of the Manager.
• Contribute to accuracy and timeliness of bonus uploads, adjustments, and exceptions.
Qualifications
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong documentation and process-mapping skills, including experience with flow charts and SOPs.
• Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of governance and controls.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio); experience with Power BI is a plus.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in finance, internal audit, or process documentation roles.
• Exposure to bonus/payroll/compensation processes is advantageous but not essential.
