About you
Are you a creative storyteller and an enthusiastic networker? Do you have a knack for bringing people together and creating memorable experiences? As our Community and Events Manager, you will play a vital role in building and engaging our community of customers, partners, and advocates in our social channels and through events. You will be responsible for planning and executing online and in-person events that resonate with our audience and drive brand loyalty.

What you’ll be doing
Community & Relationship Building:
Keep up with topical conversations on our social channels, respond to comments, engage with influencers and other businesses on behalf of Traction Complete and its team
Take part and engage with our ICP in related Slack communities to build brand awareness and education
Building genuine bonds with community partners, influencers, and customers to understand their motivations and aspirations, and cultivating trust within the community
Collaborate with the marketing team to build engage and delight programs for our customers
Future? Helping set up our own community based on learnings from other community engagement
Events Management:
Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and customer success teams to conceptualise and develop event themes, formats, and agendas ensuring they resonate with our community's interests and needs
Conduct venue research, selection, and negotiations to deliver memorable experiences
Manage event budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver projects within scope and on time
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, guest speakers and external vendors for logistics, catering, AV, speaking and other services
Oversee the production of all event collateral, including signage, invitations, programs, and digital materials in partnership with our internal design team and external vendors
Manage AV production, stage design, and technical requirements to deliver high-quality attendee experiences in-person and via Zoom
Create detailed project plans and maintain regular progress updates for stakeholders
Gather and analyze feedback from community members and event attendees to continuously improve our offerings and enhance user experience
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in community management, event planning, or a similar role, preferably in the SaaS industry.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for building relationships.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in using community management tools, event platforms, and social media.
A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
Compensation
Our market data is refreshed on an annual basis to reflect the most current market conditions.The starting salary band for this role is $70,000 - 80,000 CAD.
Starting salaries will vary within this range based on experience, skill level, and internal equity related to the role. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may include additional components such as equity, and benefits.
