We’re looking for a Team Lead, Development to join our team and be part of our next stage of growth. As our Team Lead, Development, your top priority is to lead, mentor and grow a cross functional team of hungry, innovative Salesforce developers, quality assurance analysts, and test automation specialists. Our team pushes the Salesforce platform to its limits as we work to multiply the good of non-profit community centers.

Skills
Traction Rec'rs come from a variety of backgrounds, and we are eager to find people that are from diverse backgrounds. Typically, we find that people are successful in this role when they have:
- Previous leadership experience - ideally on a cross functional development team or a project
- 3 years+ professional experience in object oriented programming as a software developer or 3 years+ experience as a QA analyst on a SaaS product
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional development team
- Highly motivated with the ability to work and make decisions independently
- Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience
- Bonus points if:
- You’ve worked in nonprofit, community centers.
- You’re a results oriented person who likes to roll up their sleeves to get things done.
- You’re energized by a fast-paced environment.
- You’re confined only by your imagination, not your job description.

What You Will Be Doing
- Support and develop your team by:
- providing regular feedback (1 on 1’s, performance reviews, etc)
- nurturing their technical and creative problem solving skills
- creating opportunities for further growth that aligns with their interests and our business objectives
- Work with our Product team to manage, assign, and deliver upcoming work to your team
- Proactively communicate timelines and progress to managers and Product owners
- Anticipate and identify problems that may impact release deadlines, while working with the team to find solutions.
- Oversee proposed solutions to problems and ensure the implemented software will meet long-term business objectives
- Ensure that the team follows coding standards and contributes to developing best practices across the team
- Make data driven decisions to improve processes within your team
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as part of tier 3 support during office hours
Compensation
At Traction Rec, we are committed to a fair, market-based and equitable compensation structure. Our market data is refreshed on an annual basis to reflect the most current market conditions.
The starting salary band for this role is $110,000-$120,000. Starting salaries will vary within this range based on experience, skill level, and internal equity of the role.
