Role Overview
Our restoration projects are the heart of what we do. We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager - Restoration Projects to be the voice of this impact. In this role, you will transform data and stories from our global projects into powerful narratives that inspire action. You will work closely with our planting partners to capture their work, develop compelling marketing content, and ensure our sales and customer success teams can effectively communicate the value and authenticity of every project we support. This is a unique chance to market something that truly matters.

6 Month Key Outcomes (6mKOs)

  1. Build a unified project storytelling and content system that elevates the clarity, credibility, and emotional impact of veritree’s restoration portfolio.
  2. Develop clear positioning and messaging frameworks for veritree’s global project types to support commercial and partner-facing needs.
  3. Deliver complete narrative packages for priority projects (one-pagers, FAQs, impact summaries, and stories) that strengthen Sales and Customer Success conversations.
  4. Become the internal go-to expert on project stories, impact data, and partner insights to support pitches, renewals, and cross-team alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a unified storytelling system for veritree’s global restoration projects. Partner with planting organizations to source, shape, and share compelling ecological and community impact stories across case studies, blogs, videos, and other formats.
  • Develop clear and inspiring positioning for priority restoration project types. Support how we present mangroves, kelp, agroforestry, and other project categories across commercial, partner, and marketing channels.
  • Create project-focused enablement materials for Sales and Customer Success. Deliver the tools, training, and resources needed to communicate project impact with clarity and build trust from initial pitch through ongoing partnership.
  • Serve as the link between our field partners and internal strategy. Translate partner insights, client interests, and market trends into guidance that informs project storytelling and content development.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized library of project content and assets. Ensure stories, images, partner updates, and impact summaries are organized, accessible, and kept current for commercial and marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to integrate project storytelling into campaigns. Support the development of web pages, newsletters, events, and social content that reflect the depth and credibility of veritree’s project portfolio.
  • Ensure accuracy and alignment of all project narratives. Work closely with Planting Operations and Product to validate impact statements, ecological insights, and partner-reported data to maintain trust and consistency.

Professional Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or content strategy, preferably in a storytelling-heavy or impact-driven environment.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates exceptional storytelling across formats such as case studies, articles, sales materials, and web content.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with external partners and translate technical or field-based insights into accessible, credible narratives.
  • Experience developing marketing assets that support sales and customer-facing conversations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfort with multimedia storytelling (photo, video, scripts) is an asset.
  • Experience in, or strong passion for, sustainability, environmental science, or social impact.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, global context.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Personal Strengths

  • A strong storyteller with the ability to translate complex environmental insights into clear, engaging narratives.
  • Genuine interest in nature restoration, sustainability, and community impact.
  • A collaborative partner who builds trust with both planting organizations and internal teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a clear sense of audience, messaging, and narrative structure.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once.
  • Adaptable, open to feedback, and energized by working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Mission-driven and motivated to support meaningful ecological and community impact through authentic storytelling.
